The 4-H Pledge

I pledge my head to clearer thinking, my heart to greater loyalty, my hands to larger service, and my health to better living, for my club, my community, my country, and my world.

4-H In America

4-H is America’s largest youth development organization—empowering nearly six million young people across the U.S. and over 88,000 youth in Kansas with the skills to lead for a lifetime.

Kansas 4‑H is delivered in partnership with local volunteers and resources, Kansas State Research and Extension, Kansas State University, and the larger National Cooperative Extension system.

Grounded in 4-H

Kids complete hands-on projects in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Math) & Agriculture, Communications and the Arts, Healthy Living, and Community Vitality in a positive environment where they receive guidance from adult mentors and are encouraged to take on proactive leadership roles.

Our programming, our philosophy and even our fun is firmly grounded in the values of 4-H and we believe time spent at Rock Springs is an essential component in the plan to develop Kansas youth into future community leaders.
