Welcome to Rock Springs Ranch Summer Camp!
Every year, thousands of young campers come to Rock Springs Ranch. They unplug, explore, play and learn the kinds of lessons that can last a lifetime. Campers grow socially, emotionally, physically and cognitively. Many make friends for life. It’s also just plain FUN!
The values of 4-H are at the core of Rock Springs Ranch and they guide all of our programming. We believe the lessons learned here can create a foundation for success that will last far beyond their visit. But you don’t have to be a 4-H member to come to camp at Rock Springs! Everyone is welcome, regardless of 4-H membership!

We are located on 735 acres in the heart of the Flint Hills of Kansas, a wondrous place with wide, open spaces and night skies filled with a million stars. Kids and young teens can unwind here, take a break from technology, develop confidence and character, all while having the time of their lives.
The Benefits of Summer Camp
Summer camp has the unique ability to enrich the lives of both campers and camp staff. The American Camp Association has studied the benefits of attending camp and discovered them to be foundational and lifelong.
Campers return home more confident, independent, compassionate and resilient. They have greater respect for the natural environment, more enthusiasm for learning and problem-solving and are more community-minded.
Centers of Excellence
Rock Springs Ranch focuses on three programmatic Centers of Excellence to spark learning and personal growth for 4-H groups, other youth groups and young adult organizations. Our programs and activities are created to incorporate one or more of these Centers, while at the same time encouraging a fun and relaxed learning environment.
